On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, George D. Semple peacefully passed away at the age of 93 after a brief illness at his home. Following his graduation from high school, George served in the US Navy as a Signalman in the Western Pacific for a span of two years. Beyond his military service, George devoted much of his time to supporting fellow veterans through various organizations such as the VFW and Partners for Patriots, actively participating in fundraisers by selling items like toaster tongs and poppies. His dedication to these causes extended to his role as Vice President for Partners and Patriots, where his contributions were invaluable. Every member of the board is profoundly grateful for George's efforts in aiding his fellow veterans, and his legacy of service will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
